Macintyre Scott Xtra (MSX), leading specialist in bonded warehousing, has announced its launch into the luxury goods sector. It will be the only distributor to the travel retail industry based in the UK for selected international brands.
The move means MSX, which established its reputation as a pioneering distributor of beers, wines, spirits and confectionery in the travel retail industry, will now be working with household names such as, Benefit, Sekonda, L’Oreal Luxe and Elizabeth Arden to supply luxury items – ranging from fragrance and cosmetics to watches.
MSX has been providing its highly efficient and professional warehouse and distribution service from source to final delivery for high profile customers such as Brittany and Condor Ferries, Carnival UK and the UK Armed Forces for over 35 years.
But with the ever-changing demands of the market, MSX will now also use its industry-leading expertise in the luxury goods sector.
The company has recently employed luxury brand manager Annie Ramsay-South - someone with a strong reputation in the travel retail sector - to oversee the new service.
“We are excited to be launching our new luxury goods service for the travel retail sector and are delighted to start work with a host of major brands,” Annie said.
“MSX is renowned for its high-level service that makes customers lives easier and we look forward to using our vast knowledge to implement this service to meet the exact needs of our customers.
“While MSX will still offer single service solutions, customers stand to gain maximum benefit by using us for all their beverage, gift and confectionery supply needs as well.”
The new service will see a range of benefits to customers including strategy meetings providing vital feedback on aspects such as sales trends and supplier issues. MSX will also closely monitor customer orders and deliveries to make sure stock levels are sufficient and in-line with demands, as well as providing marketing insights to assist customers.
