To support and develop our move into luxury goods, we have appointed Annie Ramsay South as our account manager for the sector.
Annie brings with her a wealth of experience including establishing a successful perfume and cosmetics airline business during her time at Scorpio Worldwide. She also managed cosmetics and perfume accounts for cruise lines such as P&O and Cunard whilst working for The Nuance Group.
Luxury goods is a new sector of travel retail for us, and Annie’s experience will help ensure the service reaches our exacting high standards.
With travellers accounting for 40 percent of global spending on personal luxury goods, and up to 13 percent of that being captured by the specialised travel retail channel*, we have identified luxury goods as an important area for the company to expand into.
Managing Director of MSX, Nicola Ridges-Jones, said: “We are delighted to welcome Annie to MSX. She has a fantastic background in the luxury goods sector and we knew that she was the person to help us move forward with this exciting new challenge.
“The luxury goods market is very competitive, and Annie’s experience will help us successfully add it to our expanding service offering for our clients. I’m looking forward to seeing where this takes MSX in the future.”
“I am thrilled to join MSX at such an exciting time,” said Annie “I can’t wait to bring my expertise together with theirs to help make the business achieve the success that it is looking for in the luxury goods sector.”
